Appoquinimink Counseling Services is the private practice of Dawn Schatz, LCSW, established in in 2008 as one of the first outpatient mental health counseling offices in the growing MOT community.​

 

Dawn has over 25 years experience and offers individual psychotherapy services for adolescents 16+ and adults. She has earned a reputation for providing down-to-earth, respectful, ethical, client-centered care and is proud that so many clients trust her to refer their loved ones.

Appoquinimink Counseling participates with Highmark Delaware, other Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans , Amerihealth Caritas DE Next as well as the 3 Delaware Medicaid plans: Highmark Health Options, Delaware First Health and Amerihealth Caritas. Note that we do not participate with Medicare. Clients with other health insurance plans should review their out-of-network benefits for reimbursement rates specific to their plan. Clients can submit statements for  out-of-network reimbursement.
