New Beginnings Restoration is the private practice of Melissa Forbes, LCSW. I specialize in helping with trauma, neglect, physical & sexual abuse, PTSD, depression, anxiety, crisis intervention, disabilities, life transitions, loss & grief, self-esteem, chronic illnesses, oppositional defiance & mood disorders. I have specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive therapy and through the Child Welfare Academy at the University of Maryland.

I have experience helping individuals and families in the U.S, South Africa, Peru, the Bahamas, Haiti and other countries.
